Well, the library contest released its list of winners last week, and I was one of them!

This means that in the near future, I’ll be able to meet one of the authors involved in the contest, have lunch with them, and go on a brief tour of locations in Toronto that they consider important.

When I find out which author I’m paired with (Hey library, you better get on top of that soon!), I plan on catching up on their books so I’m well prepared for the lunch itself.

In the meantime, I’ll be preparing for Word on the Street, which happens next Sunday. I’ll be going on behalf of the WCDR, live-tweeting the event, and giving away small prizes. Just make sure to look for me and some of my colleagues with the WCDR logo  on our shirts.
